Private developmental testing
Privacy & safety
Wingpost is a small, friends-only test. This page explains what the coop keeps while we learn what works—and what absolutely flies into a wall.
Information we keep
ChatGPT sign-in provides a Site-specific user ID, your email address, and sometimes your name. Wingpost stores profile details, photos, friendships, invitations, drafts, letters, delivery status, settings, and tester feedback.
Who can see letters
Letters appear only in the sender’s and recipient’s accounts. They are stored by Wingpost and are not end-to-end encrypted, so the Site owner, authorized editors, and hosting providers may access stored data when necessary.
Your controls
You can remove or block friends, download a copy of your Wingpost data, and permanently delete your account from Settings. Wingpost does not sell tester information or use letter contents for advertising.
Testing safely
Only invite people you know. Keep the shared testing phrase within the test group, and do not use Wingpost for passwords, payment information, medical records, or anything requiring encrypted communication. Testers must be at least 13 and meet the age requirements where they live.
To report a problem or safety concern, sign in and open Settings → Testing & support.
